The Earth Gratitude 21-Day Challenge

As environmental challenges increasingly touch daily life—from the food we eat to the air we breathe—many people are searching for hopeful, practical ways to care for the planet without feeling overwhelmed. The Earth Gratitude Challenge offers a welcoming response: an invitation to reconnect with the Earth through gratitude, connection, and simple, meaningful action.

Launching on March 28 (Earth Hour) in the lead-up to Earth Day (April 22), the Earth Gratitude Challenge brings together voices from around the world to share accessible ideas and everyday practices that support both personal well-being and environmental care. Grounded in gratitude rather than guilt, the Challenge encourages a sense of connection that naturally leads to more sustainable choices. Be sure to join us on March 28 for the global peace celebration launch of the 21-day Challenge. Learn more in our blog.

Earth Gratitude is a global initiative that invites people to care for the planet through gratitude, connection, and everyday action. By sharing hopeful stories and practical ideas, Earth Gratitude offers a refreshing alternative to fear-based environmental messaging, reminding us that when people feel connected to the Earth, care and responsibility follow more naturally.

Earth Gratitude was co-created by author and sustainability advocate Natalie Pace, who serves as the project's Executive Director. Under her leadership, the initiative has grown into a global storytelling and education platform that highlights the power of collective action and the role gratitude plays in creating lasting change for people and the planet. Earth Gratitude is proud to partner with Waterside Productions, led by Gayle Gladstone, CEO and co-founder, whose work has long focused on amplifying transformational ideas and voices that inspire positive change. The initiative is also supported by LaunchMoxie, led by Christopher Van Buren, whose technical expertise and digital infrastructure help ensure Earth Gratitude’s resources and messages are accessible to people around the world. The project also benefits from Imal Wagner's comprehensive PR and marketing services. Together, these partnerships ensure that Earth Gratitude’s mission to share inspiring, accessible content that fosters connection, compassion, and collective action reaches an ever-expanding audience.

The Earth Gratitude initiative includes a free, five-part docuseries, short films, and downloadable eBooks featuring worldwide leaders, artists, educators, conservationists, and organizations who are transforming their communities. Together, they explore themes such as everyday sustainability, food and health, eco-conscious kids, animals and conservation, and gratitude as a catalyst for personal and planetary well-being.

As part of the Earth Gratitude Challenge, participants are invited to explore small, doable shifts—at home, at school, and in their communities—that support healthier lives while honoring the Earth that sustains us all.
